Bayern Munich’s home kit for the 2017/18 season has been leaked online, and the strip – which is a throwback to the iconic 1974 shirt – is said to make its official debut on May 18 during the Bavarian side’s match against Freiburg.
Reported by Footy Headlines, the traditional Adidas kit looks almost identical to that of the 1974 outfit, featuring four thick white stripes down the front of the shirt, and one on each sleeve. The look is then completed by the thick white collar and sleeve cuffs.

The shorts and socks also go back to a traditional red, and similarly to the shirt, end with a thick white hoop at the bottom, switching from the white stripes that lead down the side on this season’s home kit.
The kit will be shown off at the end of Bayern’s season as per usual, with Munich expected to wear it for their final game of another title-winning season against Freiburg.
The kit looks markedly similar to that of the 1974 kit, following suit to the recently released Liverpool strip. Thankfully though, the hair sported at the time will most likely be staying in the 70’s.
